Revely Vail, Vail’s Welcome to the Brilliance of Winter, will debut this winter as a new week-long celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday season and an official kick-off of the 2019-2020 season at Vail.
From November 23-30, 2019, Revely Vail will offer family-oriented activities throughout Vail Village, including cooking classes, ice skating celebrations, Explosion of Lights walk, which includes Gluwhein and beer, gingerbread contest, tree lighting, music in Vail, and the Kris Kringle Market. A signature 10th Mountain Legacy Parade will also take place along the streets of Vail, honoring veterans and commemorating the legacy of Vail and more. From skiing on the mountain to new festivities in the Village, visiting Vail during the early-season will be an experience like nothing on earth.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27th
Vail Astronomy Nights | Lionshead, base of Gondola 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
The Colorado sky comes alive with views of the Crescent Moon, Jupiter, the Ring Nebula, constellations, and so much more. Our professional astronomer will lead guests through a fun exploration of the night sky using museum-grade, state-of-the-art telescopes for observing the universe. It is a magical night for experienced stargazers and first-time viewers. This is a great event for everyone from 5 to 85 -kids, young adults, parents and grandparents will be enchanted by what they see in the amazing Colorado sky.
Revely Vail Cooking Class Series | Create Cocktails at Two Arrows 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Join the Mixologists of Root & Flower to create cocktails for the holiday season.
5 Point Film Festival – Snow Reel | Colorado Ski Museum 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Experience nonstop winter adventures from around the globe with these internationally acclaimed short films. Over two hours of the greatest show on snow.
Explosion of Lights Walk 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Begin your walk at Lionshead Plaza, we will stroll through Lionshead to see the brilliant lights businesses have on display. Grab a cup of cocoa from our ‘Hot Chocolate and More’ tent and plan to walk to Vail strolling the streets to see the tree lights along the way. The walk ends at Slifer Square in Vail Village.

Enjoy skating exhibitions from the Vail Ice Skating Club at Arrabelle outdoor skating rinks. See these skaters light up the ice and showcase their talents.
Revely Vail Cooking Class | Chef David Sanchez: Fun with Grilled Cheese 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Kids have the opportunity to join Executive Chef David Sanches for Fun with Grilled Cheese and Mac Attack Mac N Cheese in the kitchen at Grill on the Gore at the Vail Clubhouse. Kids will be hands-on in the kitchen making their favorite cheese-filled meals. It will be an evening of entertainment and exciting memories in the kitchen where kids will learn cooking fundamentals. Kids will learn the ways they can make yummy meals in the kitchen, and it doesn’t have to come from a box.

10th Mountain Parade | Gondola One at Mtn Plaza 6:00pm
Guests are invited to watch skiers dressed in traditional 10th Mountain Division Ski Trooper uniforms perform a Torchlight Ski Down to the base of Gondola One, followed by a parade of military veterans, also in traditional uniform, marching from Gondola One down Bridge Street, across the Covered Bridge and finishing at the 10 th Mountain statue.
